	Raks Gothique is another part of Desert Moon Dancers Fusion techniques. I have studied this style for the last 18mths, exploring and learning this dance style through studying the arts of Dark Fusion Superstars ~ Ariellah, Sashi, Tempest and other amazing dancers. My own life journey has shown me shadows and light and how dance can bring balance and healing through these aspects. My Raks Gothique performance class is called UMBRA (meaning shadow spirit). This Raks Gothique workshop will take you to a deeper level of self healing and empowerment through connecting to the shadow aspect of the feminine essence. Whether we embrace it or not we all have a shadow self. By dancing the shadow, we are expressing another natural part of the self and deepening our dance experience. Through positive expression of dark mystic fusion, we are choosing to release and heal ourselves in a complete way. It is a wonderful tool for growth and self understanding. Yin and Yang, night and day, light and dark. We will shine light into the darkness and bring forth a freedom of spirit ~ dispelling boundaries of limited perceptions. We will explore signature styles, make-up, hair and Raks Gothique genres, movements and choreography.

	The 2nd annual 'Festival Mystique' is a festival designed to celebrate the joy of dance. Workshops will be held in Belly Dance, Tribal, Latin, Flamenco and more! Designed for beginners to advanced, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Come and take a workshop in one of our mirrored dance studios and get you feet in sync with your soul! A Saturday evening Dinner/Dance "1001 Knights' will be held at the venue with a Medieval Theme.(BYO) Dress up as a lady or a wench, bring your partner if you like and come and see the fantastic entertainment - Devi and the girls from the Blue Mountains, Ileana from Sydney and other top acts will be featured. Dancing will follow the meal and entertainment. Sunday there will be market stalls, music, more entertainment and the opportunity for student dancers to perform on stage to a live crowd. A cafe will be available for refreshments and light meals. Saturday evening Dinner tickets $55.
