Australian Oriental Dance Intensive
The Ausintense Festival accuring annually has been designed to provide intense interactive tuition in Oriental Dance and dancer health issues by International Dance Masters and top health professionals in the fields of dance.

"Bahar Bayram" is fast developing a reputation as a memorable and inspiring experience. The 2013 camp brings together some of Australia's and international finest dance and music teachers; experts in genres from many different regions of the Middle East and North Africa. Our teachers are selected for their talents and knowledge and also for their friendly and generous personalities.
Immerse yourself in the coming together of live music and dance, develop your skills, meet people with the same interests and be part of a community of creative and inspiring people. All workshops, concerts, activities, meals and accommodation are included in the fees and the camp is very affordable. Families are welcomed and included, as are dancers and musicians of all levels of skill.
"Bahar Bayram" is a not-for-profit event and all proceeds go towards running the camp and building on future camps and events. We're just in it for the smiles!

Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival
The Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival is held annually in early May. Featuring 3 packed days of dance and drumming workshops, parties, concert and all day market and performance day. The program is released each January - see website for dates and details.
Tribal & Trance Festival
To be held next in September 2010. Festival co-ordinator: Debra Napier (Urban Qabila). Heaps of exciting workshops to choose from with national and international guests, a Market Day with all day performances, and of course a special event evening with performances from guest teachers as well as special guests.
Wollongong Belly Dance Festival
Wollongong Belly Dance Festival is an exciting 3 day event which aims to celebrate the diverse traditions of belly dance, folkloric Middle Eastern dance, and its fusions.
The festival, which is held in the beautiful south coast of Australia, is dedicated to fostering a sense of Middle Eastern dance community, and to provide dancers from around Australia and beyond the opportunity to expand their knowledge by attending workshops, dance shows, not to mention the chance to mingle, shop and be merry!
Tasmanian Middle Eastern Dance Festival
31st August 31st - 2nd September 2012. A floorshow and fashion parade, a bazaar, a forum and a variety of fabulous workshops over two days.
Our special guest teacher this year is Michelle Joyce. Online enrolments accepted.
