A directory of musicians, teachers of Middle Eastern instruments and CD stores that carry really good selections of MED music.
If you would like to add a CD shop to the directory, please only include ones that have a REALLY good selection of MED music. The little shops with just 6 or so "bellydance" CD's are not what we're looking for. We're after the real goldmines of authentic or hard to find music.
Thanks!.

Azadoota
Known for their catchy originals and accessible, dance-driven style, Azadoota fuses traditional Assyrian dabke with Arabic, Latin, Flamenco and Pop.
Led by charismatic Assyrian/Iraqi singer Robin Zirwanda, the band features one of the Arab world's top oud players, Ahmed Al Karawi, and introduces young Flamenco hot-shot Chris Duff.
Backed by pumping grooves and flamboyant percussion, intricate oud improvisations weave through Azadoota's songs, caressing the melody lines and responding to the vocals with the fluency of a true maestro.
