Tribal Beats
The Kismet Tribe invite you to experience the dynamic and hypnotic essence of American Tribal Style Belly dance. This unique dance style is a fascinating fusion of improvised moves, inspired by the evolution of the original gypsy tribes. Share with The Kismet Tribe in this mesmerising and powerful celebration of the female spirit though strength and grace. Then cruise into the groove with the Ragga Beats, Perth's newest reggae band representing seven different cultures, including African, English, Seychellois and Australian which influence the bands repertoire of African funk and soul rhythms. Ragga Beats are attracting attention wherever they play and will soon be recording their first album.

Fairbridge Festival - Pinjarra - April, 2004
Our second year at The Fairbridge Festival! This year we performed on the dance stage on Sunday morning, and held a hugely successful workshop in the Retreat on Sunday afternoon. The Fairbridge Festival itself was, as always... fabulous!!

"Introduction to ATS" workshop - Cockburn - April, 2004
The first of our FREE Introductory workshops, sponsored by the City of Cockburn. A mixture of new dancers, bellydancers and teachers. Many questions and answers, lots of laughter and a whole lot of dancing going on!

Paulette Rees-Denis workshops - Malaga - March, 2004
Three members of The Kismet Tribe - Clair, Sarah and Anne - attended a weekend workshop with Paulette Rees-Denis from Gypsy Caravan. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet other tribal/ATS dancers, find out about the Gypsy Caravan style, and to buy some of the fabulous Gypsy Caravan music!
