18th April * The Fairbridge Festival today was wonderful! The seven of us, Clair, Amy, Sarah, Christine, Lisa, Susan and Anne really enjoyed being able to present ATS to such a diverse group of people. The workshop was filled to overflowing with enthusiastic students. It was quite a challenge trying to deal with almost 50 people, but somehow we managed. Our ears are still ringing with all those LOUD zaghareets!!!
3rd April * Today's free "Introduction to American Tribal Style Bellydance" workshop, sponsored by the City of Cockburn, was fabulous! A mixture of first time dancers, bellydancers and teachers. Many questions and answers, lots of laughter and a whole lot of dancing going on!

We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the following people for their support in presenting this free workshop:
  • The City of Cockburn for awarding us a grant to present this workshop
  • The Cockburn Herald, Cockburn Gazette, Radio Fremantle and Access 31 television for providing free advertising
  • Sheik to Sheik, and Dahlia's Bellydance Studio for their continuing encouragement and support
  • The many shopping centres and individual stores who kindly agreed to display our workshop flyers
  • And to all of the participants in the workshop, thank you for coming along and helping us to share our love of the wonderful dance form that is American Tribal Style Bellydance!
  • And last but not least... a special thank you to Amy and Sarah for all their hard work in cleaning, preparing and setting up the hall and dance area on Friday night. It looked wonderful!!
