We have two courts in the Roving Rubies - one is our ladies who have caravans and love to visit other chapters. At xmas 23 joined the Kiama group at a funfilled luncheon. 8 of the travelling ladies joined in the Young Cherry Festival. Queen Lilimarlene recently visited Cairns, Hobart and Launceston. It is so good to chat, laugh, have a cheeky chardy with other red hatters. Our other Court at Constitution Hill, Sydney are made up of retirees living in the same retirement resort which hold monthly fun days. When we can, we host functions for other chapters like the Hangi held for Gosford Branch where 45 ladies dressed in various island attire on the wettest day in February where we could do nothing else but have a good time! If you have a big function planned, let us know, we could be passing through your town and be able to join in. Cheers and remember age does not count, unless you are wine.

Our chapter looks forward to meeting new members.
We are a new group, established January 2005, but going along famously! We mix a lot with another Newcastle chapter, the The Novocastrian Raving Red Ratbags, and we have a lot of fun together. We go to a regular Morning Tea once a month, at a different coffee shop each time, ( so many cakes, so little time)-then we add on 2 or 3 different activities each month, like going to the races, Art Gallery openings, Harbour cruise, nature reserve for picnic, Botanical Gardens, lunches, cocktail party, Sydney to theatre productions etc. Lots of different things, c'mon ladies, come and join us!
