On May 20th The Albany Red Hot Ladies (formerly Amazing Albany Hatters) pictured, enjoyed a delectable afternoon tea at Monets, Middleton Beach and welcomed three new members. Apart from eating and talking and laughing a great deal, we are planning a very French Bastille Day lunch on July 14th - our esteemed member Pauline, Duchess of York Street is a dab hand at French cooking and will be co-ordinating something tres chic.
Also on the agenda will be our Hot August Night gathering - with chick flicks, pizzas, wine and demonstrations on how to clad oneself in a hat and a purple scarf... Should be fun. Stay tuned! Photos will be released at the discretion on the Queen.

The Pretty Posh Princesses Chapter is based in the Northern suburbs of Perth, although we have members from all over the Perth metropolitan area. We have a very busy schedule of social outings planned for the future. In the past these have included garden parties, Melbourne Cup luncheon, picnics in the park, Christmas light coach/boat tour to the Mandurah canals, the Hotham Valley vintage train ride to Northam for the Northam Cup race day, coctail parties, a right royal tea party and much, much more. We meet for coffee at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the Dome Cafe at Hillarys Boat Harbour (Sorrento Keys), Hillarys. All members and intending members are welcome.

We met for the first time at a local restauant on Melbourne Cup Day 2005. Our next outing was to a members house just before Christmas for lunch and viewing the hostesses paintings. Today we had our third outing - a sandwich in the gazebo at the park down by the river, then on to a coffee shop for cake and coffee. From there we had a look in three other shops. We 'turned' head and had the question "I have to ask..." directed at us numerous times, and had a photo taken with a young lady whose Mum is a 'red hatter' in Canada!!! So now we're off and running and having a lovely time. We'll probably have a get together each month sometimes at a members house and others like today out in the public eye.

The Dazzling Dizzy Dames registered the Chapter in September 2004 and we have now reached the magical 50 members, so unfortunately, we have closed membership for the time being. Our inaugural meeting was at the Analakshmi Restaurant in Perth and we have grown so quickly since then. We now meet regularly on the second Monday each month for our Red Hatter Natter where we plan outings for the next few weeks, and just get together to enjoy each others company. We have just introduced two more regular monthly events; a Tuesday 'Morning Munchies' and a Sunday 'Breakfast in a Park' which we hope will prove popular with those members who can get together on a more regular basis. We still have 2 or 3 other random events throughout the month too, and many of us are becoming firm friends. We all agree that Red-Hatting is so much fun, and it's good to share this with other like-minded ladies.
